Epoko meaning "a cave" in Otjiherero, was declared a township for local indigenous people in the 1970’s during the apartheid era. Before that the local indigenous people used to live in the location which today we call Gobabis town. Find out the history and background of this lively township which people today call ‘’ Epako’’ and are so proud of. This tour is very informative and educational. We might have a chance to visit Kindergarten or two.
