  • Day 01: Windhoek
    Arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, your guide will meet you at the Airport and transfer you to Windhoek the capital city for 40km drive. Windhoek, Namibia is situated at an altitude of about 1740 m, at the centre of the country, with the Auas Mountains to the south, the Eros Mountain to the northeast and the KhomasHochland to the west. Immediate transfer to your accommodation, overnight at Klein Windhoek Guesthouse or alternative, your tranquillity in the vibrating city of Windhoek.

  • Day 02: Kalahari Lodge
    We travel south into the Kalahari Desert, Green acacias and swaying grass contrast starkly against the red sand of the Kalahari Dunes. Camelthorn Trees provide shade for a multitude of desert-adapted animals and serve as a sharp silhouette against the setting sun on our afternoon nature drive. A variety of antelope, smaller mammals, insects and reptiles inhabit this desert explore this specialized ecosystem. Our lodge serves as the perfect oasis to enjoy the afternoon at the pool or on the spacious patio of our room.

  • Day 03: Fish River Canyon
    This morning we travel further south into the Nama Karoo Desert, a primordial environ isolated by mountain massifs. Here the second largest canyon on earth divides all of Namibian’s most pristine landscapes into seeming eternity. On a nature drive in the afternoon we observe the fragile desert ecosystem and the plant life that thrives there. Quiver Trees pose as gentle giants during a sundowner drink on top of a hill. The next day we visit the daunting Fish River Canyon and enjoy the panoramic view into one of Namibian’s most superior wilderness areas.

  • Day 04 & 05: Wild Horses, Succulent Karoo Desert
    After Breakfast we travel to the Succulent Karoo Desert. After winter rains, this desert unfolds in a carpet of flowers and an explosion of bright colours. It is one of the 20 most important biomes in the world and counts as the most specie diverse desert on earth. We will explore the sweeping desert plains on a nature drive in the later afternoon, next day we travel to a ghost town that was left to the hands of the relentless desert.

    Other attractions visited consist of the Wild Horses of the Namib Desert, Diaz Point and the colonial town of Luderitz. Desert Horse Inn, Bed & Breakfast, light/lunch packages, dinner, and visit to the wild horses’ scenic sunset drive included. This gives you an opportunity to experience the incredible scenic beauty of GondwanaSperrgebiet Rand Park at dawn.

  • Day 06: Sossusvlei Dunes, Namib Desert
    We travel north into the oldest desert on earth, formed by the effect of the cold Benguela Current. Due to early morning fog, this arid desert becomes a life supporting structure for all its living organisms. Our lodge stands at the foot of unique petrified dunes, which we will explore on a nature drive in the afternoon. The next morning we travel to the highest dunes on earth, experiencing this soulful, awe-inspiring place at sunrise. At Sossusvlei we clamber the magnificent dunes to admire this desert from above. We will also visit Sesriem Canyon, gorged out by might of the Tsauchab River.

  • Day 07 & 08: Swakopmund, Skeleton Coastal Line
    After breakfast we begin our journey via the Gaub and Kuiseb canyons, through the badlands and across the gravel plains of the Namib to the harbour town of Walvis Bay and on to Swakopmund. Overnight will be at a guest house in en-suite rooms. Swakopmund Guesthouse/Conner Stone or alternative Bed & Breakfast only for both nights included. No activities included.

    The next day: full day at leisure to enjoy the coastal area. Today is a free day and there is so many activities that we can do and must book in advance. Example Dolphin, Seal, pelican’s tours. Marine and Desert combination sandwich Harbour, topnaar tour with fresh oysters, champagne, beers, cooldrinks, and snack platters are served.
  • Day 09: Twyfelfontein, Damaraland
    We travel northwards along the Skelton Coast passing through the holiday town of Henties Bay and we head inland via the abandoned mining town of Uis and on through Damaraland to Twyfelfontein. Full day in the area – an excursion will be taken to Twyfelfontein, the organ pipes and burnt mountain. Remainder of day at leisure to participate in an afternoon excursion with the lodge and witness great landscape views Dora! Nawas, The combination of Africa's past and present makes the Dora !Nawas a fascinating visit. The camp overlooks ancient plains with glorious views of the rugged Damaraland area. Dora !Nawas Lodge or alternative.

  • Day 10: Okonjima / Africat
    Today we continue east toward Outjo and Otjiwarongo, passing through farmland, we aim to arrive at Okonjima during the middle afternoon, giving us time to relax in the shade for a while before heading out on to the property to take part in the afternoon’s activities.Okonjima is the home of the Africat Foundation, a specialist conservation concern that centres its operations on the African Big Cats, particularly cheetah.

    This afternoon you will be taken on a tour during which you will be able to meet, close-up-and-personal, some of the cheetah that are going through the Africat rehabilitation programme.Most of the animals currently living at Okonjima have been rescued from various desperate situations, being orphaned or caught in a trap, and the aim of the rehabilitation process is to attempt to re-introduce them into the wild.

    After our educational tour we will return to our camp and have dinner under the African stars.

  • Day 11: Windhoek
    Today after breakfast we will travel today south, stopping at small towns along the way including Okahandja, where we have time to visit Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The market is operated on a local co-operative basis and is one of the best places to shop for truly Namibian souvenirs. Arrival in Windhoek the capital city will be around midday and you will be drop off at your hotel/accommodation establishment.

  • Day 12: International Airport
    Breakfast and then transfer to the Airport
